Relax & Rejuvanate in Your Free-Standing Soaker Tub
Free standing soaker tubs are relatively smaller than the average sized freestanding tub and are designed to fit one person. They get the name “soaker tub” from the fact that they are also deeper than the average bathtub, which will allow you to comfortably soak up to your shoulders, generally speaking. They are also sometimes referred to as “Roman soaking tubs“, as the style is thought to have originated with the ancient Romans – who essentially turned bathing into an art.
While I don’t particular care for this design (I want to have room to stretch my legs) the Yume model MTI soaker tub does appeal to some.
The shape and color of this tub really attracts me. It is available at the ModernBathroom.com site and costs just under $6000
