Also make sure you know how the weather is before you start washing your carpet.

When you purchase a carpet, you need to know If you can wash it or not because not all rugs can get passed. If your carpet is made of synthetic fibres then you could put it in a washing machine and allow it to get cleaned in a slow cycle.
